Is a virtual tour a digital twin?

A 360° tour is linked visual documentation. An operational digital twin needs maintained asset data, update rules and functional workflows.

Can visitors measure dimensions from the tour?

Do not assume that ordinary panoramas support accurate measurement. Measurement needs a separately validated capture and delivery method.

Can a tour remain private?

Yes, where the selected hosting and viewer support appropriate authentication and access controls. A publicly reachable embed does not become private because it appears inside a protected page.

Who maintains the tour after delivery?

The agreement identifies hosting ownership, access administration, retention, renewals and updates. Ongoing service is not assumed from the initial capture.
