Monitoring

Monitoring

Traffic & crowd analysis

Measure how vehicles or groups of people move through a defined area.

What you receive

  • Classified counts and movement tables
  • Turning-flow/queue or crowd-density maps
  • Time-referenced observations
  • Validation and limitations report
How we deliver

Scope & options

Traffic studies produce classified counts, turning movements, trajectories and queues; crowd studies produce density and flow.

Aggregate analysis is the default; personal identification is not required for ordinary count/flow outputs.

Occlusion, sampling window and classifier validation materially affect automated counts.

Explore 3 service variants

Vehicle classification and junction analysis

Measure traffic classes, turns, queues and movement.

Observation periods must represent the intended study question.

Crowd-density and flow monitoring

Observe congestion and movement through authorised event areas.

Aggregate counts and flows are delivered; individuals are not identified.

Site vehicle-flow analysis

Review operational traffic on a controlled site.

Worker/public privacy and site-access rules remain applicable.

Useful to know

Terms, explained
Classified count
Vehicles or people grouped into agreed categories for analysis.
Trajectory
Time-linked movement path through the observed area.
Density / flow
Aggregate crowd or traffic concentration and movement, without requiring identity recognition.
Will you identify individual people or read every number plate?

Aggregate counts, trajectories and density are the default outputs. Identifiable-person analysis requires a separate lawful purpose and safeguards.

Are AI counts always exact?

Occlusion, lighting, camera view and classification errors affect results. Validation and uncertainty should accompany automated outputs.

Can a short survey represent normal traffic?

Only if the study design supports that inference. Observation days and times must be chosen for the actual planning question.

Does a crowd map replace event safety management?

It supports the responsible control team, which retains decisions about crowd control, access and emergency response.

Method & limitations

Define count classes, observation windows and decision use before capture.

Provide aggregate flow/density outputs rather than unnecessary identification.

Validate automated counts and state occlusion or sampling limitations.

Observation periods must represent the intended study question.

Aggregate counts and flows are delivered; individuals are not identified.

Worker/public privacy and site-access rules remain applicable.

Help me ask
  • Which vehicle classes, turns or crowd movements must be measured?
  • What observation periods represent the decision we need to make?
  • Can the report avoid personal identification entirely?
Use ordinary words. A short problem description is enough. Do not include confidential or security-sensitive information.
Start with state and district/city. Exact boundaries can be provided later through an agreed channel.Leave blank if unknown.
An estimate is acceptable. Leave unknown rather than inventing a measurement.Leave blank if unknown.
This is a preference, not a confirmed mobilisation or delivery date.Leave blank if unknown.
Personal addresses are accepted for civilian enquiries and individual training.
More project detail Optional
State only a non-sensitive reference. A submitted standard is a requirement to review, not a claim of accreditation.
Examples: ground-only work, no cloud hosting, limited access. Do not include personal IDs, confidential documents or sensitive locations.
Which outputs do you need?
Optional: choose outputs within the approved scope, or leave undecided. This is a request, not automatic inclusion.
Optional specialist variants
Only independently verified variants may be selected for a commercial enquiry.
This authorises handling of this enquiry, not marketing, automatic vendor forwarding or public publication.
